UX Camp Brighton 2018 - this Saturday

All you need to know ahead of UX Camp Brighton

Details for session hosts

If you've got a session host ticket we hope you're all prepared for your session. On the day there are five different rooms available for you to choose from. The capacity of the rooms ranges from ten people to 50 people, so make sure you choose a room that you're comfortable with. All rooms will have a screen or a projector so please remember to bring any adaptors you might need. HDMI or VGA connections will be provided. We will be providing whiteboards and pens but please bring along any other equipment that you need (e.g. post-its).

Timings for the day

We've got a fun-packed day of UX ahead of us! Here's the full schedule for the day:

10:00 - Registration and free breakfast
10:30 - Intro and Session grid
11:00 - Morning sessions (4 x 20min each)
13:00 - Lunch (free)
14:00 - Afternoon sessions (5 x 20min each)
16:30 - UX Quiz (including prize giveaway and free snacks and drinks)
17:30 - After party (free food and drink)

There will be vegetarian and vegan friendly food available.

The Skiff is very close to Brighton station, so those travelling from outside Brighton will only have a short walk from the station. Unfortunately, Southern Rail have let us down (again!) and are running a replacement bus service from Three Bridges. This has added a little more time to the journey, but you can still get from Brighton to Victoria in under 90 minutes, so should only be a minor disruption.

Bring your books

We're going to be running a book donation system at the event. If you've got old UX books that you're no longer using then please bring them along to donate. If you're new to UX, or just on the look-out for useful books, then feel free to take your pick of books that others have donated.

Thanks to our sponsors

Finally, thanks again to all our marvellous sponsors for helping us put on UXCB. Agilesphere are our main sponsor again and we also have five lovely room sponsors: AmidoEDF BluelabThe UnitFresh Egg and WiredSussex. This year our main software sponsor is Usabilla and we also have several other prize sponsors who have provided books, software and other goodies that can be won during the event.

See you Saturday!
