Hi-de-Hi!

We hope your looking forward to visiting Brighton tomorrow, we wanted to drop you a line just to confirm a few things.

No shows
If you really can't make it please don't just not show up. We still have people on the wait list who would be very grateful for your ticket. just reply to this email with I cant come and we will be able to redistribute the ticket for you.

What to bring
Basically bring what you need to enjoy the camp your laptop don't forget an adapter for plugging in to the projector. Your power supply.

Food
There will be a croissants when you arrive but this is just a light snack you may want to think about eating before. Lunch is not supplied but there are lots of nice places near the venue.

Your talk
If you don't have anything prepared yet don't worry a talk doesn't mean you have to be talking. Why not pose a question for discussion or have a fish bowl. You could even take the opportunity to get advice from other people about a design problem your trying to solve.

See you tomorrow… :)

Seaside drinks

We are excited to announce that we have arranged a great venue for the after-UXCamp drinks.

Just five minutes walk towards the sea from Cogapp is the Brighton Music Hall, right on the beachfront. It is a classy new bar run by the people behind Ohso Social, which is further along the beach.

(download)

We have an upstairs space booked, which overlooks the beach, sea and piers. The weather forecast looks great, so it should be a lovely way to end the day, watching the sun set with a cool drink in your hand!

We will be there from around 5.30pm and we extend an invitation to all of Brighton's UX community to come along and join us, even if you didn't attend the UX Camp.

Please note that as UX Camp Brighton is a free event organsied by volunteers, there will not be any free drinks. However you'll be pleased to know that the prices aren't exorbitant, especially when you consider the bar's style and location.

What are you talking about?

We encourage you to post details of your session up on lanyrd.com.

This will help you focus on what you're going to be discussing, as well as help others plan their own sessions.

It doesn't matter if your idea isn't fully fleshed-out yet, just get it up there. You can always amend it later. It might also start a debate around that topic.

Look on the schedule for the session with your name. There is a box marked Tools, click on Edit details and change the Session title and Abstract.

Then tell us all about it on Twitter and on the schedule post on this website.

Thinking caps on people, it's not long now!
